My Style Edit

Last week I met with the Manager of Brisbane’s first Kit and Ace store, due to open in James Street, Fortitude Valley next Thursday. Mel talked me through the background and future of the label and I have to say I am very excited. The Brisbane store will be a gallery inspired space featuring the work of local artists. It will also be regularly hosting in store events and dinners so like minded locals can get together and discuss creativity and design.

Mel sent me home with this Heather Grey tee to road test. I have to say it ticks all of my boxes. Great cut, the fabric is super soft and feels beautiful to wear, it is machine washable and it can go in the clothes dryer. I love the stitching detail on the back which is Kit and Aces’ branding and is on every piece. I am really looking forward to viewing the rest of the range next week.

I am also wearing on of my favourite skirts. I purchased this Dolce and Gabbana skirt from Matchesfashion last year. I love the feminine, vintage cut, the polka dot print and the ruffle at the bottom. To me this is signature Dolce and Gabbana and is a timeless investment piece (as long as I keep going to the gym).

I am loving this Saint Laurent Tie at the moment and wearing it with everthing!

These satin covered pointed toe pumps are a pair from my Celine shoe collection and are from Maryon’s Shoes. I wear them regularly and like every pair of Celine shoes, they are super comfortable and a great heel height.
