London Fashion Week SS16 Edit

Peter Pilotto took a gamble on semi-sheer seersucker for Spring Summer 16 and it has definitely paid off. He moved away from being defined as a print designer with this collection and concentrated mainly on solid colours, beautiful pastels and a bit of neon highlighting. My favourite looks were the summer jackets, chantilly lace shirring, ruffles, layers of coloured lace and I thought the shade of baby blue he used was perfect.

Mary Katrantzou was my favourite Spring Summer parade at London Fashion Week. Her collection, Cosmic and Chaos combined tiny flower prints, micro sequins, metallic quilting and intricate floral embroidery. I loved the printed shoes. Every piece was divine and I will be waiting impatiently for this collection to arrive in stores next year.

Burberry Prorsum’s Spring Summer 16 collection was as gorgeous as always. The mishmash of tech sportswear and delicate vintage inspired pieces worked perfectly … the updated iconic trench, neon lace, lace mini and maxi dresses, 40’s inspired slips, black lattice shoes and sporty rubber sandals.
