Frances Hendrie Edit

I am always looking for the perfect Tshirt to have in my wardrobe. It is actually very difficult to find the perfect shape, so often I find the arm length and shape unflattering. It is also very important to get the fabric right.

Local Brisbane girl, Rebel Hendrie, has recently launched new clothing label Frances Hendrie and her ethos is to design simple pieces for the wardrobe and do them well. The label has launched with basic Tshirts styles including the boyfriend shape, crew neck, v neck ¬†and her finishes include sheer fabrics, stripes and raw hems. I can tell Rebel has put a great deal of thought into her first range because all of these shapes and colours have a place in a woman’s wardrobe.

I purchased the Double Edged Tee in Anthracite. It arrived the next day later (beautifully packaged) and I instantly loved the fabric, so soft to touch and great quality. I also loved the sleeve length, the doubled edge finish and the fit of the body. Easy to wear with jeans, shorts, pants, midi and mini skirts. My next purchase will be the Sheer Tee in Black.

I love to support local Australian designers and I am looking forward to seeing what comes next for Frances Hendrie.

I am also wearing Anine Bing Mid Rise Skinny Jeans from Pompidou, Celine Heels from Maryons Shoes, IRO shirt from Calexico.
