Blush Pink

Blush Pink

Blush, rose and various soft shades of pink were seen all over the 2016/2017 fashion parades. This catwalk resurgence showed the world that pink is back and its time for us to rethink it. Soft pink is a great colour to introduce into your wardrobe because it can also work as a neutral and it’s the easiest colour to style with other pieces you own.

For a casual look style a light pink skirt with a grey Tshirt and add a black leather jacket for cooler weather. A pink Tshirt or button up shirt is a great way to add pink to your wardrobe and wear casually with denim or dress up with one of this season’s sequin skirts or try a bright shade midi skirt like red. Pink lace is also a great option for a more dressy look whether it be a dress, pants or top and skirt.

Pink accessories such as hats , jewellery, bags and shoes are also a great way to update your look with this new season colour trend.

Here are some of my favourite new season pink pieces :

Maison Michel – Henrietta Rabbit Fur Felt Stuff

Altuzarra – Holliday Side Fluted Skirt

Altuzarra – Kelly Stretch Cady Top

Emporio Armani – Square Sunglasses in Pink

Asos – Premium Edge to Edge Suit in Dusty Pink

Asos – Sister Jane Lace Midi Dress with Crochet Fastenings

Puma – Classic Suede Trainers in All Pink

Today I am wearing Tibi Pleated Midi Skirt from Samantha Ogilvie in Brisbane, Bassike Scoop V neck Tshirt, Gucci Metallic Knitted Beret, Saint Laurent sandal and bag from previous season.
